This unique, modular and expandable 60,000sf, concurrently maintainable and fault tolerant for power facility is one of 8 OneNeck owned and operated state-of-the-art data centers in the US, featuring a segregated design with redundant connectivity, redundant climate control and exceptional security. This facility includes features such as VESDA, 10x 2500Kva transformers with diverse substation access, and fault tolerant electrical components to minimize risks from power failure as well as from fire, water, weather, and unauthorized access. https://youtu.be/8WFQFipCLyk

Our host for the tour is Jim Brown, a Solutions Architect for OneNeck/TDS. Jim has over 25 years of experience in IT solutions and data center colocation, including OneNeck, PDS and American Family, and has a depth of knowledge on the construction and features of this facility and their applications. Come and see how the utilities and the facilities’ design and operation are specialized to serve this unique data center while learning about their approach to physical IT security.

Please note, due to the sensitive nature of the site, a government-issued ID is required for each registered attendee. The tour will start at 5:30pm on Tuesday 2/27/18 at 5515 Nobel Drive. Members and guests should RSVP by registering through www.ifmadison.org by EOD 2/20/18 to allow for the necessary host-to-guest security ratio.
